Here are the basic steps you should take to heat up your garage gym.

Step One: Replace Weather Strips

When most people think of insulating their garage gym, they think of insulating the walls. And while we’ll get to that, there’s another step that many forget about, but is equally important.

You need to check the weather strips around the windows, doors, and everywhere else.

Over time, this stripping can become brittle and break. When the weather strip breaks and tears, cold air can come in, and hot air can escape.

Give all the weather stripping a once-over, and replace everything that needs replacing. Honestly, if I was doing my garage gym and saw even a few parts needed replacing, I’d probably just replace the whole lot anyway… Best to do it once now, than have to re-do more later on.
